Alisia Adamson Profit, Esq., a distinguished criminal defense attorney, has been celebrated as “The Nation’s Best Advocate” by the National Bar Association and is recognized as one of Florida State University’s most esteemed alumnae. Her exemplary legal acumen and dedication to justice have earned her accolades such as being named a Rising Star and receiving top ratings from Super Lawyers.

As a co-founder of HAWM Law, which was honored as the Law Firm of the Year by the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, Alisia has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s success and reputation. Her leadership and innovative approach to criminal defense have positioned HAWM Law as a preeminent firm in the legal community.

Prior to establishing HAWM Law, Alisia served with distinction as a Trial Attorney at the Public Defender’s Office in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Her tenure in this role allowed her to hone her skills in the courtroom, developing a formidable reputation for her strategic and effective defense tactics. Her experience as a trial attorney has been instrumental in her success and has contributed significantly to her standing as a top-tier legal professional.

Alisia holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University, where she distinguished herself both academically and professionally. She was recently appointed to the Orange County Mayor’s Jail Oversight Commission. She is a member of the Orange County Charter Review Commission and served as Chair of the Public Bank Committee. She is Past President of the Orange County Bar Association Foundation (first Black Woman to hold that position) and is a current member of the OCBA Executive Council. Her involvement in these organizations underscores her dedication to advancing the legal profession and her community. She has a passion for educating the youth about the Criminal Justice System and enjoys volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, Mercy Drive Kidz Zone and other youth organizations.
