Orange County Spring Bridal Expo Show
We had the pleasure of serving as a vendor for the Orange County Spring 2024 Bridal Expo Show at the Orange County Convention Center here in Orlando. Typically, you may wonder how a law firm is relevant to a Bridal show and the traditional vendors. However, a key component that many brides tend to neglect during their planning process are pre/post nuptial agreements.
At HAWM, one of the practice areas that we offer is Family Law, where we handle pre/post agreement cases amongst others. Serving as a vendor at the event, we were able to speak with and interact with new brides-to-be. Our team of Family Law attorneys were able to highlight and inform them on the importance of pre/post nuptial agreements.
Many people are uniformed of the benefits of having these agreements in place prior to their marriage despite their financial status. The insights that we provided the couples were immeasurable, so much so that we were able to retain quite a few clients as a result. We also highlighted and touched on other relevant Family Law cases that we handle along with our other practice areas.
We had an amazing time serving as vendor at the expo as we were able to provide valuable insights and increase our firm’s overall brand awareness and visibility amongst a diverse group of individuals. We look forward to next year’s Bridal Show, be on the lookout for our booth!
June 2024
Caribbean American Heritage Month Festival in Deltona
The month of June is observed as Caribbean American Heritage month (CAHM). This month is increasingly important to us as several of our team members at HAWM Law are of Caribbean descent. In addition, daily we fight for the rights of our immigration clients by providing them with a clear path to their American dreams.
In honor of CAHM, the HAWM Law team served as a vendor at the Volusia County CAHM Festival. The event was put on by the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of Volusia County. We had lots of people visit our booth and ask about our services for future use. At the event our very own managing partner Sasha Watson Sankey, moderated a Know Your Rights Panel along with other practicing attorneys.
The attorneys answered a series of questions from various areas of the law and took questions from members of the audience. We had an amazing time providing resources to the residents of Volusia County. We look forward to future events.
July 2024
Poder LatinX Naturalization Clinic
Bridging the gap between immigrants and their American dream is something that is near and dear to our hearts here at HAWM Law. We do understand that not everyone always has the necessary resources to retain a competent immigration attorney to guide them through their journey.
As Pro-Bono, a team of our immigration attorneys went in and hosted a legal naturalization clinic. They were able to assist patrons free of charge with the preparation of their naturalization packets.
It is important to us to be able to give back to the community that has made us the well-respected, trustworthy, and loved firm that we are today. Our aim one day at a time, is to assist our clients with making their dreams a reality while offering opportunities to improve their quality of life based on their respective circumstances.
